My personal development journey started when I was 23 years old. Diagnosed with a hernia (slipped disc) the surgeons wetted the knives. I refused. Instead I healed by visiting a spiritual counsellor. Never did an operation degrade my spinal column. Obviously there was another road to health than classic medicine.
There are many ways to Rome. As a person who likes to think in an unconventional way, I always look for alternative solutions. The hernia experience enforced this trait. I strive to find creative ideas. To tackle issues using my analytical, quick mind. Combined with a keen eye and good listening skills.
My background is multicultural and multilingual. Understanding different cultures (I grew up in one) is a second nature. I have lived in different countries. Led teams in corporations. Made them more productive. Increased profitability of commercial organisations.
Many years I taught how to use Information Technology properly. To take stress out of people’s daily lives. I organised and ran workshops helping managers understand how to use the IT tools. How to combine this with a human approach to staff. Both in large and small mainly non-profit organisations. In addition I have invented and held workshops to create awareness with managers. Helping them to understand how people learn as well as teaching them how to lead employees in an empathetic manner.
